The Pathfinder Educational Scholarship Program

The scholarship program was developed to help provide scholarships to students from John C. Fremont High School. The program gives Scholars at John C. Fremont High School, the opportunity to be mentored by their peer’s attending college. The program provides development of educational issues and understanding of higher education as A key element for the future of our community.  The program will help Latinx and BIPOC scholars also learn relationship-building as a key component to learn how to foster personal and professional relationships through their educational careers.

General Criteria

Demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities; Outstanding volunteer service to the community; exceptional service to John C. Fremont High School; demonstrated financial need; Good overall Grade Point Average (G.P.A).

Eligibility

A candidate for an educational scholarship must be a full-time registered college student for the 2022-2023 academic year.  The student must show proof of college or university admission.

Program Requirements

Adherence to all programs, Pathfinder Alumni Youth council, Peer Mentoring, and Fremont High School Alumni Foundation policies and procedures.

How to Appy?

Online Applications will be distributed to counselors at John C. Fremont High School in January.
