We are a grassroots 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of youth in South Los Angeles. By instilling the values of higher education, financial literacy, and self-care for wellness awareness, we strive to build a stronger, more resilient community.

The challenges faced by our community, especially during the pandemic were profound and youth continue to cope with issues steming from  the experience of the pandemic. In South Los Angeles, including the Florence-Graham neighborhood, poverty levels among children have soared to 40%. Our youth, 74% of whom live below the poverty line, face daunting challenges: 42% come from single-parent homes, and an overwhelming 87% are pioneering their family’s college journey. These challenges are compounded by rising violence and crime, highlighting the urgent need for support and change.

Your generosity has been instrumental in paving the way for our youth to achieve their dreams of higher education and a brighter future. Through your contributions, programs like the Pathfinder Educational Scholarship Program, the Pathfinder Peer Mentoring Program, and the Pathfinder Alumni Youth Council have been able to make a significant impact. Our educational workshops  continue to empower and equip our scholars with the tools they need to succeed.
